LANDSCAPES
Landscape & Fine Art Photography
Landscape photography shows the spaces many see but in a new light. It tells a story, and it brings to life those remote wildernesses that not many get to experience. It captures natural geography in a way that makes time stand still. Above all, it’s growing more important as the world’s remaining natural resources and wilderness areas become more encroached.
Hawk is a member of the prestigious Explorer’s Club, founded in New York City in 1904 to promote the exploration of land, sea, space, and air. He is also a member of the Appalachian Mountain Club, the Royal Geographical Society, and the Professional Photographer’s Association. His fine art photography is represented by the Rugh Gallery in Lancaster, New Hampshire, and the Gallery at WREN in Bethlehem, New Hampshire.
New Hampshire and its landscapes have always been close to my heart, and I am thrilled to be living here full-time now. Living in the White Mountains has inspired me more than ever to appreciate and cherish nature. Exploring lakes, rivers, waterfalls, ponds, mountains, trails and the endless wilderness is my daily routine. Each season here brings magic with the ever-changing weather and light. I am drawn to the grandeur and diversity of the planet. I have always been in love with the world around me and I seek the extraordinary in the ordinary. The idea that photography preserves moments in time intrigues and excites me. I love sharing the images I see while hiking or just relaxing and observing.
